Photographs reach across the decades, even centuries, to reveal what once was, if but for a moment. People, places and the miracle of light and shadow can evoke emotion, document milestones and preserve history.

Bringing a photographic vision to life, or revealing something breathtaking in the commonplace are very satisfying to me.

I believe making portraits of people, both formal and candid, is an important way to honor life.
